苗栗縣為恭醫院居家訪視弱勢鄉親，2日下午院長陳振文帶領居家醫療團隊到到三灣鄉偏鄉地區訪視獨居的陳奶奶和身障者鄭先生，提供失能、不便到院民眾醫療整合照護服務，接受服務的鄉親感謝醫護人員到宅給予照護，場面溫馨感人。
獨居在三灣鄉的陳奶奶，因多年身體病痛無法自行就醫，另一名鄭大哥是身心障礙者，長期由母親協助到鄰近診所就醫，但母親因年邁行動不便，無力協助就醫，兩人都是苗栗縣政府長照管理中心轉介對象。
為恭醫院長陳振文表示，配合國家醫療政策，院內組成居家醫療團隊，安排醫事人員親自到宅，提供失能、疾病外出就醫不便等民眾一般西醫門診診療、藥品處方箋用藥、居家護理、居家呼吸照護、居家安寧等醫療照護，藉此回饋社區，深獲鄉親好評。
為恭與苗栗縣長期照護管理中心建立合作機制，希望透過醫療照護服務，發覺社區內有醫療需求但不便就醫的個案，讓有需求的民眾都能獲得完善醫療照護。
院方指出，如有居家醫療服務、長期照顧服務、健保關懷服務等需求，可向恭醫院提出申請，諮詢專線037-691672。
